FRONT STRAP
Use the following:
01 Front Strap (01 main + 02 secondary).
02 Stainless Steel Bolts.
02 Stainless Steel Lock Nuts.
04 Stainless Steel Fender Washers.
04 Nylon Washers.
04 Zip ties.
Installation:
1. Attach the secondary strap: Take one of the small straps and wrap it around the bike's fork, just below the triple clamp. Make sure the tips of the strap are facing forward.
2. Position the main strap: Place the main strap between the two ends of the secondary strap.
3. Prepare the bolt: Slide a stainless steel washer and then a black nylon washer onto one of the bolts.
4. Insert the bolt: Push the bolt through all three aligned holes from the inside of the mount, so the rounded head of the bolt is on the inside.
5. Add the final washers: On the other side of the bolt, add another black nylon washer followed by a stainless steel washer.
6. Hand-tighten the nut: Screw the stainless steel nut onto the bolt. Don't tighten it completely; just leave it loose enough so you can still move the main strap to adjust its angle later. This also leaves room to add at the back the zip ties for the secondary straps.
7. Attach the first zip tie: Loop a zip tie around the fork just above the triple clamp as shown on the picture.
8. Attach the second zip tie: Take a second zip tie and thread it from the back, under the secondary strap, and connect it to the first zip tie you just installed.
9. Finalize the installation: Adjust the position of the zip ties to secure the secondary strap and keep it always in place, then tighten the bolts and nuts firmly to lock the main strap in your desired angle/position.
10. Do the other side: Repeat the entire process for the other side of the bike.
Soft Suspension Setup & Clearance
If you run a soft suspension setup, the union between the main strap and the bolt may contact your fork guards during full compression. Failing to ensure proper clearance can cause the strap to break due to impact. If you run a soft setup, you must install the mount as suggested below to prevent damage:
- Option A: Rotate the entire mount assembly slightly outward so the strap union clears the guards.
- Option B: Trim the very top edge of the plastic fork guards to create a clear path for the hardware.
